After elementary school, my big plan was to study IT at ETH. So I set all the courses to achieve this and did the Progymnasium, then two years later, I changed to the Kantonsschule Solothurn. There, however, I realized already in the first quarter that this was not my path. I didn't want to go to school for four more years, then maybe study for five years and still not have earned a single centime at the end. So I dropped out of high school in 2015 and accepted an IT specialist in application development apprenticeship with a part-time vocational baccalaureate. What followed were exhausting and instructive years. In 2019, I completed the apprenticeship as best in class (IT) with a 5.5 average. Since 2019, I have worked as a developer for my former apprenticeship company.

Since my childhood, I have been fascinated by space. Who is not? I have been looking for a possible pseudonym for a long time that could stand for my creative work on all my social media channels. Finding a name that is free everywhere is not so easy. At some point, I looked at a list of star names. And promptly, I had my new handle! Shaula is a star of the constellation Scorpio. It is one of the brightest stars in the night sky over the northern hemisphere.Under shaulaproject, we combine everything I publish on the internet.

I keep busy with my hobbies when I am not at the office. I love to travel, discover new things, and learn about other cultures. For example, I have been to Iceland, visited the Chernobyl exclusion zone, and been to London. One of my cameras often runs along and captures this photo- and videographically. In addition, I am an enthusiastic drone pilot. I found my great passion in 2018 during a school trip, which was sailing. We went to the Netherlands with the IT class. Since then, I've been pursuing this hobby as often as possible and constantly improving. I aim to get my ocean license and start skippering part-time in a few years.
There are only a few things more liberating than when you leave the protective harbor behind you and the first waves catch the ship, you feel the wind in your hair, and the yacht plows through the water. When sailing, from the first minute on, all earthly problems and worries are being thrown overboard, and you live only in the moment. In short, it's the definition of freedom!On Lanzarote, I found out that I practically don't get seasick. Because if even 4m waves can't harm me, what can? While others have been hanging over the reef for a long time on hard-on-wind courses, the fun is just beginning for me.
